Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister (DPM/FM), Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic engagement to advance Pakistan’s national interests, and directed officers to maintain close coordination and ensure timely follow-up on key priorities.

The deputy prime minister chaired a meeting to review Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities and ongoing diplomatic engagements here, a DPM’s Office news release said.

 

The discussions covered key regional and international developments, forthcoming high-level engagements and efforts to further strengthen Pakistan’s bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
