Mariam Aurangzeb
Former Minister

Marriyum Aurangzeb is the current Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, in office since 27th April 2018. Previously, she served as Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting from October 2016 to April 2018. She was elected to the National Assembly of Pakistan as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) on women reserved seat in 2013.

She did her graduation from the Federal Government College in Islamabad and went to receive a M.A in economics from the Quaid-e-Azam University. She later moved to London, where she received a master's degree from the King's College London in environmental and development policy. Prior to entering politics, Aurangzeb worked as the head of corporate relations at the WWF Pakistan. She also served as a board member of LEAD Pakistan in 2013.
